Forty-six new rent-to-buy homes have been completed for One Vision Housing in Birkenhead, the Wirral.
The 40,000 sq. ft Conway Point development marks the culmination of a 12-month project delivered by Sovini Group on behalf of One Vision Housing.
The scheme features 46 one- and two-bedroom apartments, an alternative transport storage facility, and on-site parking.
The high-rise apartment block was built on brownfield land.
All of the construction waste from the scheme was recycled, according to Sovini.
Sovini’s new-build framework seeks to build more than 1,000 affordable homes within the next five years.
Colleagues from across the Group, Wirral Council, Homes England, and contractors came together to mark the completion of the Birkenhead scheme.
James Flannery, director of Construction and Land, said: “The Conway Point development has been designed and built to the highest standard.
“The apartments strive to be energy efficient as we continue to embrace renewable technologies with an environmentally friendly approach to construction.
“Building a better future for One Vision Housing’s customers by creating sustainable social impact and transforming local communities was and will continue to be central to all our operations.”
Ian Mitchell, managing director of Housing at The Sovini Group, said: “Thanks to the hard work of our [The Sovini] group’s property and construction supply chain, we are proud to offer these high quality, affordable homes to Wirral residents.
“Ensuring value for money to One Vision Housing, the development delivers on our vision of a better future, as we create opportunities and change lives by helping local people to get onto the property ladder.”
He added: “We look forward to collaborating with Sovini Construction and our group partners to deliver our ambitious development framework, for years to come.”
