7video have shared insight into how housing associations can use video content to enhance annual reports.
The film and animation experts – who have 14 years’ experience producing content for associations across the UK – says it can help bring annual reports to life by using formats such as carpool karaoke, stirring human interest stories, and engaging animations.
Ben Payne, Business Development manager at 7video, said: “Annual reports don’t just have to be documents full of text and infographics.
“Creating content using video is a really powerful way of showing all the great things that have been achieved and the difference being made to customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Payne says that, due to social distancing, housing associations may not have as much content as usual when trying to effectively communicate key achievements.
Payne added: “We’re out filming, so there is still plenty of time for us to capture the stores you need, following all the latest COVID safety guidelines.
“If people aren’t comfortable being filmed in person, we can record them over things like Zoom.
“And we do animation. Animated videos in annual reports are a fab way of getting key impact stats across. They can also be used for some of your real-life stories.
“Finally, we can edit. So, if you have any photos or have captured any video footage, we can transform this into brilliant features.”
