Ongo has helped launch another business in the North Lincolnshire area in which it operates.
Sparc Enterprise, Ongo’s business-support service, assisted Ash Prior to set up her own company as a wellness professional.
After being made redundant last year due to COVID-19, Ash realised she had the opportunity to focus on her dream of becoming a wellness professional who supports people in various aspects of their lives.
In order to do this, Ash got in touch with the Sparc team who then offered guidance regarding becoming self-employed.
Sparc manager Jill Dickinson was able to help Ash through listening to her ideas and offering support on a range of things including refreshing her CV and giving personalised guidance.
Through Jill’s help, Ash was able to start her business in January 2021, and she officially launched Positive Reflection Coaching with an Instagram, Facebook and website.

Ash (pictured) said: “I wanted to create something where I could offer wellbeing support to people.
“This would include life-planning and coaching for those looking to achieve personal goals through to being a guide when somebody is working through the stages of grief and bereavement.”
“Sparc has given me the confidence to give this a go, something that I might not have tried on my own.
“I feel very happy to have made this step and would like to thank the Sparc team for their support.”
The Sparc project aims to make a difference to local people and the local economy as a whole.
From March 2020, the Sparc team has signed up and supported hundreds of people through various services and projects, including Sparc, Kick-Start, and Next Level Project.
