Beyond Housing has emphasised its commitment to supporting safer communities by signing up to the Cleveland Antisocial Behaviour Charter.
The charter, led by the Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner in partnership with local agencies, sets out a shared pledge for organisations to work together to prevent and address antisocial behaviour.
Matthew Haynes, Redcar housing operations manager at Beyond Housing, said: “Beyond Housing has reaffirmed its dedication to creating safe, confident and resilient communities by signing up to this charter.
“This reflects our ongoing determination to prevent and tackle antisocial behaviour, in collaboration with partners, to ensure residents feel secure, supported, and proud of the places they call home.”
By becoming a signatory, Beyond Housing joins a growing number of partners that have committed to coordinated action, clear standards, and improved outcomes for residents.
The charter outlines how agencies will collaborate, share information and respond effectively to reports of antisocial behaviour. It aims to build public confidence, strengthen neighbourhoods and ensure that those affected feel heard and supported.
Beyond Housing played a role in contributing to the development of the charter, and says it will continue to work closely with partners through the Safer Cleveland Board to deliver on its commitments.
Sarah Hall, director of housing at Beyond Housing, added: “At Beyond Housing, safety and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. By signing up to the Safer Cleveland Anti Social Behaviour Charter, we’re strengthening our commitment to tackling anti social behaviour.
“As part of the Safer Cleveland Board, we work closely with partners on initiatives such as this to prevent and tackle anti social behaviour, strengthen neighbourhood pride, and ensure communities feel supported and protected.”
