Yes, if your organisation uses a local number for your tenants to call, we can provide a memorable free to call 03 number 100% free of charge for your tenants. This can run alongside your existing number.
How can Core Telecom host 03 numbers free-of-charge?
Core Telecom can sustain this at no loss, due to it being its own network and how the billing between each network and BT works.
Core Telecom as a network is renumerated by network minutes, therefore by increasing our network minutes, we can offer this. Most other networks could offer the same service for free, but they choose to charge quite high charges when they are already making a margin out of it.
How Resilient and Secure is Core Telecom’s Network?
The Core Telecom Network, like all UK networks, sits on the BT backbone across the UK. The quality is matched as BT is quality over price. Core, since its inception in 2006, has run over 7 billion minutes.
In terms of resilience Core Telecom are ISO27001 accredited, it’s UK Network working to a N+1 protocol, which means we currently operate a primary, secondary and tertiary routing infrastructure over multiple redundant data centres, offering full network resiliency to 99.999% uptime, even in the unlikely events of multiple full data centre disruptions.
What impact will Core Telecom hosting our 03 number have on our existing Telephony?
Our offer to host your existing 03 numbers has no impact on your contact centre telephony. All we do is host the 03 number on our network removing all costs and simply forwarding all those calls to your contact centre
How do we move our number to Core Telecom and is there any number disruption?
The process of moving a number from one Network to another is called Porting. All number ports are managed by BT. The process is seamless with no disruption to your phone service. On the day of porting no calls are cut off or dropped.
