Cottsway is providing 20 new affordable homes at a new development under construction in Swindon, Wiltshire.
The homes are being built by developer Keepmoat Homes at the new Greenbridge Square site, set on the edge of Swindon.
Cottsway exchanged contracts with the developer this month on 20 one, two, three and four-bed affordable homes –14 for rent and six for shared ownership.
Cottsway is West Oxfordshire’s largest housing provider but also has properties in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Wiltshire, including 26 within Swindon Borough.
Marita Ford, development manager at Cottsway, said: “This is the first time Cottsway has partnered with Keepmoat Homes and we’re excited to see this site progress.
“It’s also our first new development in Swindon in nearly a decade so we’re thrilled to be able to provide much-needed affordable housing in the town.”
In total, Keepmoat Homes is building 134 properties at the site along with open spaces for recreational use.
Dan Haines, regional director at Keepmoat Homes, said: “We have a strong track record of delivering new homes across the country, particularly on brownfield land such as this, breathing new life into the area.
“Greenbridge Square is located in a fantastic location – near Swindon Rugby Football Club and just a short distance to Swindon town centre and the A419 and M4.
“We’re delighted to be working with Cottsway on this development and hope to have completed the 20 affordable homes by Autumn 2021.”
