Weaver Vale Housing Trust has delivered its first ever homes in Chester at a development praised by City of Chester MP Chris Matheson.

The Riverside Group has completed work on 41 affordable homes on Bowness Road in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

Spread across multiple phases, the full Peabody project will deliver over 3,500 homes with 50% for affordable tenures for local people to rent and buy.

CoreHaus MD Scott Bibby says what the company has achieved since it first opened its Seaham site last year “has been nothing short of amazing”.

Orbit will deliver a mixed of social rent, affordable rent, and shared ownership homes across two separate sites. 

The first sod has been turned on 10 new social homes – to be delivered by Rural Housing Association – on the Northern Ireland island of Rathlin.
