Elim Housing has been fully integrated into Places for People (PfP), bringing its 840 homes in Bristol and Gloucestershire into the wider group.
The integration follows the merger of the two organisations in December 2025. Elim’s staff are now part of PfP.
Elim residents will continue to be supported by the same neighbourhood teams, according to PfP, while its specialist services, including homelessness prevention and supported accommodation, will also continue.
PfP said this would complement its existing work with people at risk of homelessness in Bristol, including its Space to Start campaign, which has delivered 20 modular homes in the city as temporary accommodation.
Elim also works with Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
PfP said the merger would give it greater capacity to invest in existing homes, improve services and explore opportunities to deliver more affordable housing and specialist accommodation in the areas Elim has served.
Greg Reed, group chief executive of PfP, said: “From the outset, we have recognised the strength of Elim’s local relationships, specialist expertise and deep commitment to supporting customers and communities across Bristol and Gloucestershire. Those strengths are now combined with the scale and resources of the wider PfP group.
“Most importantly, this is about what we can do for customers. By bringing our organisations together, we can strengthen investment in homes, services and communities, while retaining the local knowledge and relationships that make such a difference to people’s lives.
“I’d like to thank everyone at Elim and PfP who has worked hard to make this integration a success. We look forward to building on Elim’s proud history and delivering even more for customers and communities in the years ahead.”
