Grand Union Housing Group has secured over £2.8m in grant funding to help build more than 80 affordable homes in three rural sites across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
The 82 homes, supported by Homes England, and are being delivered in partnership with Snowdon Homes.
They will provide family homes for local people in Raunds, Northamptonshire; and Little Staughton and Upper Caldecote in Bedfordshire.
Dave Lakin, Grand Union’s director of Development and Commercial, said: “At Grand Union, we want to provide people with safe, quality affordable housing where they can put down roots.
“This grant funding is allowing us to provide over half of the homes on these sites at social rent, making these homes really affordable to households who move in.
“We are facing a housing crisis, and so we are delighted to be able to use this funding to continue to play our part in providing more homes and stronger communities.”

The homes – which are a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom properties – are available to rent and for shared ownership.
They are due to be completed between the end of 2023 and summer 2025.
Grand Union has committed to build nearly 2,000 homes over the coming years.
Grand Union Housing Group provides 12,500 homes for around 27,000 people across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and Hertfordshire.
