Soho Housing Association is hosting ‘All The World’s A Stage’, an exhibition by Soho Parish School at Great Pulteney Street gallery.
The primary school, on Great Windmill Street, is just a few minutes’ walk from the gallery. The school specialises in arts provision, and every year, the students choose a theme for their annual art week.
This year, the theme is ‘theatre’, the perfect choice for a school and a gallery located in the heart of Theatreland!
The artworks are inspired by different workshops the students have attended over the course of their annual art week, from dance and movement to Venetian mask making, costume jewellery, headwear design, story boarding and stop motion.
The exhibition will be an opportunity for the students to see their artwork professionally exhibited in an established gallery in the heart of Soho.
Barbara Brownlee, CEO of Soho Housing Association, commented: “This latest exhibition is a fantastic celebration of the creativity and community that is central to Soho.
“At Soho Housing Association, we have long fought for ordinary local people’s right to live and work in the area and Soho Parish School is a central pillar of this community.”
The exhibition will run from 5th-8th February 2025 and will be open to the public from 10am-5pm every day.
