Home Group, one of the UK’s largest housing associations, has announced the appointment of two executive directors as it sets out on a new five-year strategy.
The provider has appointed Helen Brindley as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and Will Gardner as its new executive director of Development.
Helen Brindley has been appointed as the new CFO, a role she will take up in late summer.
She currently serves as the director of Finance at Home Group, which she first joined as director of Risk and Assurance in 2015.
Helen will take over the role from current CFO John Hudson.
Home Group has also recruited from within for the role of executive director of Development.
Will Gardner, who was previously director of Development, moves into the executive team, taking up the role immediately.
Will joined Home Group as head of Development in the southern region almost seven years ago.
He then took up the role of director of Development in 2017.
Mark Henderson, chief executive of Home Group, said: “One of the key components in our new five-year strategy is about ‘growing our own’.
“So, I couldn’t be more delighted to welcome my colleagues Helen and Will to the executive team.
“They were integral to the successful delivery of our last five-year plan, so to have them on board as executive members as we begin on our new strategic journey is reassuring indeed.
“We have ambitious plans for the next five years and with the energy, expertise and leadership Will and Helen bring to the executive team it puts us in an even stronger position to achieve them.”
Home Group provides homes for over 115,000 customers across 55,000 properties in England and Scotland.
