Northern housing association Karbon Homes has made two new senior appointments to help drive the delivery of its five-year strategic plan.
Jonathan Fletcher has been appointed as director of Pre-Tenancy and Property Services and Andy Kennedy as assistant director of Customer and Building Safety.
Karbon says the roles are key in delivering its strategic aims.
Formerly the group’s assistant director of Responsive Repairs and Voids, Jonathan has a wealth of experience in property maintenance and support services.
Speaking about his appointment, Jonathan said: “I am really looking forward to this new challenge within Karbon.
“It’s an exciting time for the organisation, having just refreshed our Stronger Foundations Strategy, and I hope to play a key role in delivering our strategic aims and helping provide customers with a strong foundation for life.”
Andy Kennedy has stepped into the newly created role within Karbon’s senior management structure, after four years as Karbon’s head of Compliance.
The new role has been developed in response to Karbon’s continued investment in customer and building safety.
‘Vital roles’
Ian Johnson, executive director of Customer services at Karbon Homes, said: “Both Jonathan and Andy have played vital roles in ensuring our property services offer is top class, and I’m pleased to see them step into these important positions within the organisation.
“These new appointments show Karbon’s commitment to providing customers with the highest quality homes and services, and I look forward to working alongside them both to build on the brilliant work that’s already happening in this area of the organisation.”
Karbon Homes manages around 30,000 affordable homes in the north of England.
