Lynn Woodger, Customer Service advisor at Warrington Housing Association (WHA), has announced she will be retiring after 20 years of service.
Joining WHA in 2002, Lynn Woodger a wealth of knowledge and life experience to the company, including running her own hotel and working in a GP surgery.
Commenting on her departure, she said: “The part of my job I have most enjoyed is speaking to and helping customers.
“I started as a receptionist at WHA and always loved greeting customers.
“My favourite memories will be all of the fantastic colleagues I worked alongside, and I will miss them and the customers.
“But I am going to enjoy spending more time with my husband Barry, doing more swimming and also volunteering at Warrington Foodbank.
“Championing the foodbank and raising money for them while at WHA is one of my proudest achievements.”
Woodger has been an advocate for the foodbank’s work during her time at WHA, spearheading campaigns and fundraising activities that have raised thousands of pounds and seen a huge amount of donations.
Niki Stockton, executive director of Operations at WHA, said: “Lynn has worked for the organisation for a very long time and has championed the ongoing changes and improvements Warrington Housing Association has made along the way to ensure we continue to offer an excellent customer service.
“She has always been enthusiastic and focused on WHA’s values and getting things right first time for our customers.
“Not only that, but Lynn’s commitment to customers and her loyalty to the organisation is something she has always passed onto new starters.”
