Housing Digital publisher, UKBE launches Manchester Property Awards at MIPIM in partnership with Invest Manchester
The Manchester Property Awards have officially launched on the international stage at MIPIM, as a commercial partner of the Invest Manchester delegation – signalling a bold new platform dedicated exclusively to celebrating Greater Manchester property.
Unveiled to investors, developers and civic leaders at the world’s leading real estate event, the awards will recognise the organisations and individuals shaping one of the UK’s most dynamic regional markets.
Delivered by UK Business Events Ltd (UKBE) – the team behind the Northern Housing Awards and Building Innovation Awards – the Manchester Property Awards are built on a foundation of independent judging, transparent criteria and sector credibility.
Joe Broun, UKBE’s managing director, said: “Greater Manchester continues to attract global capital, drive large-scale regeneration and lead in urban innovation. Launching the awards at MIPIM reflects that international ambition – positioning the event as the definitive annual recognition of excellence across development, regeneration, investment and professional services in the region.”
Andrew McIntosh, director of place at Greater Manchester Combined Authority, added: “Greater Manchester’s success is built on the strength of the whole city-region, and it’s fantastic to see an awards platform that recognises the people and projects shaping places across all 10 boroughs.”

The judging panel will comprise senior property leaders from each of the 10 Greater Manchester borough councils, alongside leading figures from architecture, development and investment – ensuring every entry is assessed by those shaping the region’s built environment and offering entrants the opportunity to have their work recognised by some of the industry’s most influential voices.
Mike Emmerich, founding director at Metro Dynamics, said: “Manchester’s property market is one of the most dynamic in the country, and it’s right that the innovation, investment and partnerships driving that growth are recognised.”
The inaugural ceremony will take place on the 6th November, bringing together senior leaders from across the property ecosystem to celebrate impact, ambition and delivery.
