Manchester’s Old Trafford was abuzz last night – but it was housing, not football, that was the cause for celebration.
Around 700 housing professionals from across the north descended on the city to celebrate the sector’s best and brightest at the first in-person Northern Housing Awards in three years.
A total of twenty-five awards were up for grabs, recognising everything from homelessness support and employee wellbeing to retrofit and modern methods of construction.

Not everyone could take home an award; but that didn’t stop the champagne from flowing and the celebrations from continuing into the small hours – with a little help from comedian Justin Moorhouse and funk cover band The Midnight Cats.
This year’s chosen charity was Oasis Community Housing, for whom attendees raised a massive £5,120.
