The nominations for the 2022 Northern Housing Awards are now officially open – and this year, they’re bigger than ever.
A whopping 26 awards are up for grabs, celebrating everything from tenant engagement to employee wellbeing, housebuilding to retrofitting.
A number of the categories serve to highlight how providers have been helping their communities, as well as their own organisation, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commenting on the launch, Joe Broun, managing director of UKBE, said: “We’re delighted to bring back the Northern Housing Awards and celebrate the best and brightest northern housing has to offer.
“We want to hear about your achievements and how you are making a difference to your tenants and communities. This year, with a few new categories added to the mix, there’s no excuse not to get involved.
“As always, a big thanks goes out to our partners and sponsors for their continued support.”
Also commenting on the launch of the Awards, Housing Digital editor Liam Turner said: “UK housing is full of dedicated and talented professionals who make it their mission to improve the lives of tenants, communities, and their colleagues.
“The north of England is no exception, and these awards serve to highlight the crucial work of the region’s housing associations, builders, charities, contractors, and more.
“I wish all entrants the best of luck.”
This year’s awards will take place in person at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
The deadline for entries is 11 March, while the shortlist will be announced on 11 April.
