The constructed of 22 new affordable-rent homes has been completed on West Street, Scunthorpe, housing association Ongo has announced.
The seven three-bed and 15 two-bed homes are designated for affordable rent and, Ongo says, have been finished to a high standard, with modern finishes and car charging points installed on a number of properties.
The new homes sit in the centre of Scunthorpe town centre, with local amenities, schools, and shops located within walking distance.
Amy Schoenmaker, Development project manager at Ongo, said: “These homes look fantastic inside and out, and they bring a new, fresh look to the area.
“They reinforce our promise to not only build new, much needed homes, but also to improve and reinvest in our communities.
“Their location means they’ve been in high demand and it has been great to see so many people interested throughout the build, and to see families now moved in.”
