Sage Housing Association and Higgins Group have begun the latest phase of a the New Stratford Works housing development in Newham.
Phase three will see the delivery of 36 new apartments, and Higgins Homes will market the new homes with the affordable housing purchased by Sage Housing Association.
Jeremy Marcus, Sales and Marketing director at Higgins Homes, said: “Residents have enjoyed so many elements of living at New Stratford Works and we are delighted to get going on the latest phase, so more people can benefit from this exceptional development and all it has to offer, the peaceful and green linear park, a host of local amenities combined with excellent connectivity, just moments from both Stratford and Stratford International Station.
“Since the 2012 Summer Olympics, this part of London has been transformed to what is now referred to as ‘the city’s most exciting corner’, and we look forward to seeing this next phase come to life and as new residents move into their stylish homes.”
New Stratford Works forms part of the major post-Olympic regeneration masterplan for London Borough of Newham and has been designed by PTE Architects with PRP Architects as working drawing architects.
The development is the next phase of Stratford Works, where 154 new homes were created with an extensive new linear park and an extensive centralised park.
