Social housing provider Stonewater has announced the senior appointment of Debbie Chun as Assistant Director of IT.
Joining Stonewater from Wandle Housing, Chun has more than 20 years of sector experience having also worked for A2Dominion and Guinness Homes.
An expert in IT management and programme delivery, Chun has successfully delivered transformation projects primarily involving moving organisations into a Microsoft Dynamics environment.
Amit Patel, Director of IT at Stonewater, said: “I am delighted we have been able to add such a talented member to our team.
“It’s an exciting time for Debbie to be joining Stonewater as we are currently exploring the development and delivery of our new target operating model.”
In response to the Coronavirus crisis, Stonewater launched its programme earlier than planned to ensure its frontline teams were able to continue delivering services.
This included mobilising its customer contact centres so colleagues could still support customers over the phone from home.
Chun will be combining her operational knowledge, experience of digital transformation, and passion for customer service to support Stonewater in meeting the objectives outlined in its Customer Promise and 2025 business plans.
This includes working on the second phase of Stonewater’s SharePoint project, DigiPay, which will enable an integrated payment solution on SharePoint for the management of purchase orders and invoices.
Chun said: “My experience of joining the team virtually has actually been quite fun. I’m incredibly excited about joining a fantastic team that prides itself on providing a high-quality service to meet the demands of their customers.
“It’s a great opportunity to support any organisation with delivering on its transformational plans and I’m delighted to be a part of this journey with Stonewater.”
Chun’s appointment is the third senior position at Stonewater to be filled since the Coronavirus outbreak. In August, the organisation announced hired Anne Costain as Corporate Finance director and John Chadwick as Customer Experience programme delivery director.
