Stonewater has appointed Anne Costain as Corporate Finance Director and John Chadwick as Customer Experience Programme Delivery Director.
Anne Costain
A qualified chartered accountant and corporate treasurer, Costain joins the organisation after working as Interim Director of Resources at Thrive following seven successful years moving through senior roles at Radian Housing Association.
Before making the move to housing, Costain worked for SME, Fortune 500 and FTSE 250 manufacturing companies.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “I’m excited to be joining Stonewater and support the organisation in delivering more much-needed homes though our key partnerships such as with Homes England.
“Working alongside our development teams and colleagues across the organisation, I will be utilising my skills to maximise our homebuilding opportunities, but I’ll also be part of our Operational Delivery Group delivering change across the organisation.”

John Chadwick said he was keen to join Stonewater because of the organisation’s commitment to wanting to do what’s best for its customers.
“The coronavirus crisis has led to businesses, including housing providers, making lots of changes in a short amount of time to ensure it could continue delivering its services,” said Chadwick.
“For Stonewater this meant moving forward with its digital plans faster than originally planned.
“Now more than ever, we need to make sure our customers can contact us how they want and when they want. So, part of my role will be focussed on supporting our teams to establish a streamlined and nationally consistent approach, so that we can ensure we deliver the same excellent service to our customers that they’d receive from our frontline teams but on other digital and online mediums too.”
John has 20 years’ experience leading customer experience strategies for businesses across a variety of industries, including HSBC Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and UK Border Force.
