Housing Digital and data and AI consultancy Cynozure have launched new research to build a clearer picture of how housing associations are using data and AI, where they are seeing value, and what is holding them back.
The independent survey will bring together perspectives from senior leaders working across data, digital, technology and transformation in UK housing associations.
As organisations across the sector explore the opportunities presented by AI, the research aims to look beyond the hype and understand what is happening in practice.
It will explore organisations’ current priorities and investment focus, confidence in their data, the barriers they face, how far AI has been adopted and where it is beginning to create value. It will also examine how organisations are measuring the value and impact of their data and AI investments.
A central aim of the research is to give housing leaders a meaningful benchmark, helping them understand how their organisation compares with peers and building a sector-wide picture of the current state of data and AI in housing.
Jason Foster, Founder and CEO at Cynozure, said: “There’s no shortage of conversation about data and AI in housing. From the leaders we talk to there’s a real appetite for a clearer sector-wide picture of what’s actually happening on the ground. They’re keen to know where organisations are investing, what’s working, where they’re getting stuck, and whether they can demonstrate the impact.
That’s what we want to get underneath with this research. By building a picture across the sector, we can help housing organisations learn from each other, see where they stand and make better choices about where data and AI can genuinely improve services, operations and outcomes for residents.”
The findings will be published in a co-branded report developed by Cynozure with support from Housing Digital. Housing Digital will also host a webinar exploring the results and what they mean for organisations across the sector.
Senior data, digital, technology and transformation leaders working within housing associations and trusts are invited to take part. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete.
