Housing association Torus has recognised future stars in its special Apprenticeship Awards celebration event.
Colleagues and colleges nominated peers and students with 10 people winning awards as the event marked National Apprenticeship Week 2026 which started on Monday (9th February).
The awards highlight the standout work by apprentices and the people helping them to further their careers.
The Group has over 100 apprentices across its four business areas – Torus, Torus Developments, Torus Foundation and HMS.
Of these, 64 are at HMS which is Torus’ in-house construction and maintenance contractor with a strong emphasis on encouraging more women into the building sector.
Another 30 apprenticeships will be offered in September with people encouraged to get in touch.
Any tenants interested in the roles will receive help with their application from the Group’s charitable arm, Torus Foundation.
