Trust Housing Association recently retained its ‘Leaders in Diversity’ accreditation from the National Centre for Diversity.
Founded in 2005, the National Centre for Diversity is the UK’s leading organisation promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Trust was the first housing association in Scotland to achieve the national award of ‘Investors in Diversity’ and became the second organisation in Scotland to achieve ‘Leaders in Diversity’ accreditation in 2015.
It was awarded ‘Housing Provider of the Year’ and ranked in the top 100 most inclusive workplaces in the UK at last year’s National Centre for Diversity’s FREDIE awards.
Rhona McLeod, Trust’s CEO, said: “We have been leading the housing sector on equality, diversity and inclusion for over ten years.
“We are committed to helping to create a more equal society which respects diversity and embeds inclusion.
“We aspire to lead the way in achieving this in everything we do and by influencing change and promoting equality in Scotland and further afield.”
Trust provides housing, care and support services in the social rented sector in Scotland, providing and maintaining homes for more than 3,600 people across 23 local authority areas.
