Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) has welcomed the handover of its latest home in Knutsford, Cheshire, secured under a Section 106 agreement.
The Park Gate Village scheme, set on a 40-acre site, will consist of 234 homes and is being delivered by developer, Bellway Homes.
Under the developments Section 106 scheme, the site will include 25 shared ownership properties, and 46 “affordable” homes via WCHG. The latest home to be handed over brings the tally so far to 40.
The scheme offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, rated with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of B, and electric vehicle charging points to promote greener living.
Andrea Lowman, WCHG’s executive director of development, said: “We are keen to develop homes nearby to Wythenshawe, as it enables us to provide future value for all WCHG customers. We have been able to bring Park Gate Village forward through our partnership with Cheshire East Council, Tatton Estates, and Bellway Homes.
“Our customers moving in are delighted, and we look forward to delivering the remaining homes on the scheme.”
