whg has achieved official recognition for the gas service it provides its customers, receiving re-accreditation from the Housing Quality Network (HQN) for gas servicing and maintenance.
whg says the accreditation is a sign that it not only meets or exceeds good standards but is also proud to offer an excellent service to customers.
The award recognises that whg operates its gas strategy efficiently, effectively, and is compliant with health and safety and gas industry regulations.
The HQN review involved an auditor visiting whg to conduct an in-depth evaluation and speak to colleagues and customers.
In his report the inspector said: “Amongst the accredited organisations that have received accreditation for gas servicing and maintenance, whg is probably the exemplar organisation in the way in which gas servicing and maintenance is structured, delivered, and managed.”
whg Services and ECO manager Mark Bird said: “We carry out gas services to more than 19,000 homes every year, and despite the pandemic successfully adapted our way of working to continue providing this essential work.
“I’m delighted we have achieved HQN accreditation for a further three years. This achievement demonstrates that our gas service is great quality and offers value for money.
“My thanks go to all the trades team whose hard work has helped us gain this accolade.”
