Innisfree Housing Association has started work on its new Aylesbury Street development in the north-west London borough of Brent.
Jointly funded by the Mayor of London and Innisfree, Aylesbury Street is set to provide nine new homes for families in Brent, all of which will be available for London Affordable Rent.
Offering 100% affordable housing, the development will comprise three one-bedroom apartments and six two-bedroom apartments.
Main works commenced on site in August 2022, with completion expected in September 2023.
John Delahunty, chief executive at Innisfree, said: “Developing new homes is not just a numbers game for Innisfree.
“We are aiming to provide new homes for families that are of high quality and at genuinely affordable rents that will transform their lives.
“This requires having the right team for delivery, led by Red Loft, in partnership with the GLA, TfL, and LB Brent.
“We already know that we will be incredibly proud of the scheme when we see families enjoying their new homes.”
Neil Jervis, partner at Red Loft, development and project manager for the site, said: “We are pleased to be supporting Innisfree with the delivery of their Aylesbury Street scheme, which will provide genuinely affordable homes for local residents in the Borough of Brent – a really important provision for the area.

“We will continue to provide project management for Innisfree for the duration of the development, working in partnership with Helix Construct Ltd, to ensure the timely delivery of these new homes and associated landscaping.”
