Entries are now officially open for the prestigious Northern Housing Awards, which are set to take place in Manchester in May 2023.
A host of coveted trophies are up for grabs, celebrating everything from housebuilding to community engagement, smart working to retrofitting, digital engagement to modular construction, and more.
Each category serves to highlight those organisations that have made a tangible difference to both housing providers and communities in the north of England and North Wales.
Commenting on the launch, Joe Broun, managing director of UKBE, said: “We’re delighted to bring back the Northern Housing Awards and celebrate the best and brightest northern housing has to offer.
“As usual, we will be celebrating key sectors such as housebuilding and retrofitting, but we will also be shining a light on those who are working hard to make a difference to the communities they serve during these turbulent times.

“As always, a big thanks goes out to our partners and sponsors for their support.”
Housing Digital editor Liam Turner said: “UK housing is full of dedicated and talented professionals who make it their mission to improve the lives of tenants, communities, and their colleagues – and the North is no different.”
“These awards serve to highlight the crucial work of all those who work within the region’s housing sector and who strive to make it a paragon of excellence within the wider industry – I wish all entrants the best of luck.”
This year’s awards will take place on 2 May at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
The deadline for entries is 10 February, while the shortlist will be announced on 13 March.
