Real estate consultancy JLL has strengthened its affordable housing business with the launch of a new team based in its Cardiff office.
Nick Worman joins as senior director from Avison Young, alongside fellow Avison Young colleagues Charles Kaminaris (director), Lisa Roberts (associate director), and Stuart Randall (associate).
These strategic hires bring JLL’s UK affordable housing team to more than 70 professionals nationwide.
Marc Burns, head of affordable housing at JLL, said: “We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues in Cardiff, who bring a wealth of exceptional expertise in affordable housing valuation services across Wales and the broader UK market.
“Local knowledge and understanding remain fundamental to our client service model. Having successfully expanded our affordable housing operations across the Midlands, Northern England and Scotland, our new colleagues will allow us to deliver a truly comprehensive and integrated national service built upon our long-established regional platform.”
The team’s expansion is expected to enhance JLL’s service offering across loan security valuation, transaction support, bond issuance, development consultancy, and land acquisition advisory services for housing associations.
The addition will strengthen existing client relationships while developing new partnerships through the team’s established sector connections and develop new ones through the team’s established contacts in the sector.
