VIVID, Regenda and MTVH have signed up to support the development of HACT’s social value roadmap.
“Today, we will start developing the roadmap so the sector can use social value information to improve services, enhance decision-making and increase the impact we make,” said Andrew van Doorn, Chief Executive, HACT.
“We’re delighted that these organisations will be joining us, bringing their different perspectives, priorities and expertise to the social value roadmap. Together we can deliver the future of social value in social housing.”
The social value roadmap was launched in September 2020. It was developed by the UK Social Value in Housing Taskforce, which was composed of 17 organisations including leading social housing organisations, the Regulator for Social Housing and international experts in social value.
Mark Perry, Chief Executive, VIVID, said:
“We’re pleased to confirm our support in working with HACT on developing a social value roadmap, to help measure and evaluate the social value we deliver as an organisation and as a sector. Social value is important to businesses like ours to understand the social impact of what we do.
“By working with HACT, we hope to learn more about how we can measure and evaluate social value and ensure our staff understand how their role generates social impact, to make business decisions, influence stakeholders and improve outcomes for our customers and local communities.”
Nina Peters, Director of Business Transformation, Regenda Group, said:
“The Regenda Group regenerates places and works with people to create the opportunities they need to thrive. Being a part of the social value roadmap will help us understand and increase the impact we make. We’re delighted to be working with HACT to achieve this.”
Geeta Nanda, Chief Executive, MTVH said:
“The role of social housing organisations in supporting people through difficult times is now more important than ever and the social value roadmap offers an opportunity for the sector to improve its social impact in communities across the country.
“At Metropolitan Thames Valley, social value is incredibly important to us and we’re always looking at ways we can improve our services and deliver what is most important for our residents. That’s why we’re delighted to be joining sector partners to support the development of HACT’s social value roadmap.”
