Thrive Homes has today appointed two new members to its executive management team with Karen Forbes-Jackson joining as Corporate Services Director and Mark Farrar as Finance Director.
Filling the newly created position of Corporate Services Director, Thrive Homes says Forbes-Jackson brings the ability to proactively meet business needs in a rapidly developing customer-focused organisation.
Farrar will help develop processes to achieve business objectives, support the wider business, and help set the strategy going forward.
With more than 25 years of generalist HR experience at the strategic and operational level, Thrive Homes says Forbes-Jackson will ensure it has the resilience, skills, and ability to grow and adjust as needed.
“It’s great to be joining an organisation with a steadfast commitment to serving its customers and colleagues,” said Forbes-Jackson.
“I look forward to helping Thrive embrace transformative growth and deliver on its mission and values.”
Through his experience across different sectors, Thrive Homes says Mark’s skills complement those of the current leadership team, as he will be able to challenge and develop current approaches, allowing the organisation to further its position as a forward-thinking organisation in the sector.
“I’m excited to join an organisation that brings such a modern approach to the housing sector,” said Farrar.
“My diverse background will bring a fresh perspective to the business and help Thrive continue to innovate and achieve its next stage of growth.”
Before joining Thrive, Mark served as Head of Finance for housing association bpha.
Before that, he worked for Tesco PLC for 17 years, holding various financial leadership positions.
Commenting on the new appointments, Chief Executive Elspeth McKenzie said: “We are thrilled to have Karen and Mark join our team at Thrive Homes.
“With a new finance director and corporate services director in place, Thrive is continuing to grow, and these appointments ensure that Thrive is best positioned to continue to achieve our ambitions in terms of growth, customer service, and creating quality affordable homes where people enjoy living.”
