One Manchester has announced the appointment of Kevin Williams as executive director of growth and assets.
Williams will join the Manchester-based housing provider later this year from The Guinness Partnership, where he currently serves as director of asset and growth strategy.
Williams’s role will be to ensure customers and communities remain at the core of the provider’s growth strategy.
Commenting on his appointment, Williams said: “I am delighted to be joining One Manchester as executive director of growth and assets.
“It is a fantastic organisation, with a proud track record and a very exciting future.”
Chief executive Nic Kershaw added: “Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and local connections to One Manchester, and we’re very excited to have him on board.
“Having someone who understands our communities was so important to this appointment, and I’m pleased that we’re welcoming Kevin to our team.”
One Manchester is a housing and community services provider that owns and manages over 12,000 homes in central, south, and east Manchester.
Earlier this year, Manchester City Council agreed to transfer the association council-owned land to deliver 139 new low-carbon homes in Newton Heath.
The new 139 homes will be split between social rent and affordable rent and will be built to Passivhaus standards using smart design and build methods.
